On Cowboys Friday OTA, a new offense system, Razorback, was used for the first time. The running back Felix Jones was the one who felt most comfortable with it.
He does have many advantages on the new formation. First of all, the formation is familiar to the one Jones ran at Arkansas with former collegiate teammates. And then, he has explosive back with immense speed and great play-making skills. In his rookie season, he averaged an amazing 8.9 yards per carry and scored three touchdowns, one on a 60-yard run, before an injured toe cost him the final 10 games.
No wonder he became the player most featured in the spot now. He is confident that the new formation will get the Cowboys a lot better.
